Pediatric Care
Walk-in Healthcare for Children
At The Nurse’s Office, where we practice the ‘Art of Caring,’ we love caring for the children and teens of our community. Children’s health is of the utmost importance. We know that acute illnesses and injuries are common amongst children, and getting them into a pediatric or primary care right away may not always be possible. As such, we offer walk-in care to children who are 3 years of age and older for acute, non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, such as:
- Allergies
- Asthma
- Chickenpox
- Colds
- Coughs
- Cuts
- Diarrhea
- Ear infections
- Fever
- Flu
- Pinkeye
- Respiratory tract infections
- Sprains, strains, and other sports injuries
- Strep throat
- Vomiting
We offer the following walk-in services and more to our pediatric patients:
- Lab work
- Stitches
If your child is experiencing a medical emergency or a life-threatening medical illness, injury, or condition, please call 911 immediately and / or get him or her to the nearest emergency room right away.
We are accepting and welcoming new patients at this time. For more information about our children’s walk-in health services or to learn about our primary care providers, please contact us by calling 860.603.3541. We are here and ready to serve you.
