Geriatric Care

Comprehensive Healthcare for Seniors

At The Nurse’s Office, where we practice the ‘Art of Caring,’ we offer comprehensive geriatric care to the seniors in our community. We understand the importance of caring for our elderly population.

As primary care providers, we are the first line of support and defense for seniors’ health. We provide elderly people with the care they need to be their healthiest. We work with our elderly patients and their families to manage both healthcare and psycho-social needs. In addition, we arrange, coordinate, and manage our patients’ care with and amongst specialists, such as cardiologists and neurologists, when needed. Further, we coordinate long-term and home care, nutritional counseling, physical and occupational therapy, and rehabilitation for our elderly patients.

We offer comprehensive primary geriatric care, including care for common geriatric conditions such as:

  • Cognitive impairment
  • Colds
  • Coughs
  • Cuts
  • Falls
  • Dehydration
  • Diarrhea
  • Dizziness
  • Fatigue
  • Fever
  • Flu
  • High blood pressure
  • High cholesterol
  • Incontinence
  • Malnutrition
  • Pressure sores or ulcers
  • Respiratory infections
  • Sleep disorders

We offer the following services and more to our geriatric patients:

  • Blood pressure checks
  • Blood sugar checks
  • Cholesterol checks
  • Routine physical exams
  • Vaccinations

In addition, we offer in-house lab work for certain tests, as well as walk-in appointments for non-urgent needs, such as a cold or the flu.

We are accepting and welcoming new patients at this time. We recommend comprehensive physical examinations every year for our geriatric patients.
