Addiction Recovery Support
At The Nurse’s Office, we provide care, support, and addiction recovery services to people suffering from opioid addiction. We understand the struggles that people battling addiction face and are here to provide support and assist in recovery in a caring, supportive, and understanding environment.
Care for addiction can take various forms, from medical treatment to substance abuse counseling. As primary care providers, we are a first line of support for people suffering from addiction. Our goal is to understand your or your loved one’s addiction and provide the necessary care and referrals to assist in recovery.
As people suffering from addiction may also be suffering from additional conditions, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, or physical pain, we arrange, coordinate, and manage our patients’ care with and amongst specialists, such as mental health professionals and pain management specialists, as needed.
We are accepting and welcoming new patients who are suffering from addiction at this time. For more information about our addiction recovery services and approach, to learn about our primary care providers, or to schedule an appointment with one of our nurse practitioners for you or a loved one, please contact us by calling 860.603.3541. We are here and ready to serve you and look forward to seeing you soon.
Please note that, as a walk-in clinic, we are often able to make same-day appointments for new and existing patients. If you or a loved one needs to be seen immediately or the same day, please contact us to see how quickly we can get you in to see one of our providers. However, if you or a loved one is experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room right away. We are not equipped to handle life-threatening medical emergencies in our office.
If you or a loved one is suffering from addiction to a substance or substances other than opioids, please contact our office to discuss whether or not we may be able to help or know another provider who can.
